Joan Joseph owner of Meridian Mediation & Paralegal Services, provides divorce mediation services to couples with and without attorneys. 

 

Joan is a Certified Florida Supreme Court in Family, County and Circuit Civil Court. Joan has extensive work experience in a wide range of law including Civil Litigation, Immigration, First Party Property, Family Law, Foreclosure, Small Claims and Landlord/Tenant Evictions.

Since 2016, Joan has provided contract paralegal services to numerous clients an began to focus these efforts increasingly for law firms, therefore during the same year Meridian Paralegal Services, LLC was created.

 

Born in Haiti and raised in New Jersey, Joan has lived in South Florida for over twenty years, spending much of this time working within the legal field as a Legal Assistant to Paralegal and Manager at local law firms. Joan followed her passion of resolving conflict through mediation.

Over the past four years, Joan has work at the 19th Judicial Circuit, 17th Judicial Circuit and the 15th Judicial Circuit Court as a contract Mediator. To date, Joan has handled over 400 county court including family law mediations. Joan is skilled at developing creative solutions to help individuals and attorneys resolve their cases and has a very high success rate at achieving settlement.
